This series of essays and reference works covers aspects of Glasgow's aviation history with a focus on Renfrew, Glasgow's first airport.

It also covers other less researched areas such as the Luftwaffe attacks on upper Clydeside as well as rotary operations in Glasgow itself and the history of Gliding plus other areas that will appeal to those with an interest in the region's aviation history. There is only coverage of Abbotsinch in relation to the Flying Clubs and the University Squadron.
